S&P 500 Stocks

One year ago today the S&P 500 had an all-time closing high of 1,565.15 and went on to an all-time intraday high of 1,576.09 on 10/11/2007. Today (10/8/08) the S&P 500 index closed at 909.92. It is now down -41.86% in the last 12 months.

The Dow Jones Industrials (DJIA) is now down -39.43% from its closing high of 14,164.13 set on the same day as the S&P 500 (10/9/07).
