VTR - Ventas Inc. Replaces JNY - Jones Apparel Group Inc.

Today (3/3/2009) VTR - Ventas Inc. was added to the S&P 500 Index and JNY - Jones Apparel Group Inc. was deleted.

DO - Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. Replaces WFT - Weatherford International Ltd.

Today (02/25/09) DO - Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. was added to the S&P 500 Index and WFT - Weatherford International Ltd. was deleted.

HCN - Health Care REIT Replaces SOV - Sovereign Bancorp

Today (01/29/09) HCN - Health Care REIT was added to the S&P 500 Index and SOV - Sovereign Bancorp was deleted.

Sovereign Bank was bought by Banco Santander for about $1.6 billion.

IRM - Iron Mountain Inc. Replaces UST - UST Inc.

Today (01/05/2009) IRM - Iron Mountain Inc. was added to the S&P 500 index and UST - UST Inc. was deleted.

UST Inc. was bought by MO - Altria Group.

SCG - SCANA Corp. Replaces MER - Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.

Today (12/31/2008) SCG - SCANA Corp. was added to the S&P 500 index and MER - Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. was deleted.

Merrill Lynch was bought by BAC - Bank of America

FLIR - FLIR Systems Inc. Replaces NCC - National City Corp.

Today (12/31/2008) FLIR - FLIR Systems Inc. was added to the S&P 500 index and NCC - National City Corp. was deleted.

National City was bought by PNC - PNC Financial Services Group

OI - Owens-Illinois Inc. Replaces WB - Wachovia Corp.

Today (12/31/2008) OI - Owens-Illinois Inc. was added to the S&P 500 index and WB - Wachovia Corp. was deleted.

Wachovia was bought by C - Citibank.

MFE - McAfee Inc. Replaces BRL - Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Today (12/22/2008) MFE - McAfee Inc. was added to the S&P 500 index and BRL - Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. was deleted.

Barr Pharmaceuticals was bought by TEVA - Teva Pharmaceuticals.
